we spent the last 12 days in doi angkhang working on an ewb project in ban no lae, a small hilltribe village just a few kms up the road. never thought there were mountains like this in thailand... we were staying at about 6000 ft above sea level. which makes it cold- very cold if you just came from anywhere else in thailand. we packed a few warm clothes for this trip, so i'm glad we got to use them. otherwise we would have lugged around extra jackets like a bunch of idiots. now we can say we're lugging around extra jackets like idiots, but we actually used them for 2 weeks.

here's a video taken at the end of the workday in no lae. it sums up a lot of what the last 2 weeks were like. these kids were awesome- they all wanted to help with the construction and hang out with us. sometimes they helped, sometimes they didn't, sometimes i thought they we're going to start throwing bricks at each other. they were all little devils.
